Raised amidst a bustling household of 13 children, I honed my craft by mastering the art of creating flavorful dishes from humble, seasonal ingredients.

 

Life took an unexpected turn when, at the tender age of 35, I found myself widowed with three young children to care for. Amidst the challenges, I found resilience and resourcefulness, which became the cornerstone of my culinary venture, Hippie Chicks.

 

Driven by an unwavering commitment to excellence and freshness, I embrace the ethos of hands-on preparation, from hand-shredding cheese to the meticulous chopping of produce and the zesty tang of freshly squeezed citrus. My culinary odyssey commenced with a cherished Winnie the Pooh cookbook gifted to me at six, sparking a lifelong passion for the art of culinary expression.

 

Fueled by a dual passion for travel and community service, Hippie Chicks was born, blending culinary creativity with a heartfelt mission to give back.
